The device has been tested for water resistance using the IEC 60529 standard and has achieved an IPX4 rating. IPX4 resistance protects against splashing water. Water splashed against the enclosure from any direction will have no harmful effects. (https://www.iec.ch/ip-ratings)

The water repellency may deteriorate over time under normal conditions of use, or if the unit is damaged, repaired or disassembled or not observe the correct precautions. The IPX4 water-repellent function of this device is only suitable for general tap water or freshwater, and not for contact with other types of water or liquids (e.g., seawater, salt water, chlorinated water and beverages). In addition, do not immerse the unit in any water or liquid, and please note that this device has a USB-C® charging port, and the USB-C® port must be thoroughly dried before charging. Note: The water repellency of this device is tested by using a flow rate of 0.1 l/min per hole (the number of holes depends on the size of the swing tube), a water spray angle of ±180° and a pressure of 80~100 kPa; the device is rotated 90° horizontally after 5 minutes, and the water flow continues for a total of 10 minutes. After the test, the device is removed, fully dried, and then checked for normal operation.
